What is the RPG Pipeline and how to use it

The RPG Pipeline is a posting board to keep track of upcoming tabletop rpgs. When I see a new rpg released, going into crowdfunding or looking for playtesters, I post it here. I cover only games (not supplements or other add-ons) and only English language.

My Character is Better Than Yours [Free]

My Character is Better Than Yours [Free]:

This game was a result of some conversations with a friend about writing a game that was all about edgelords: the kind of characters who each need their own corner of the inn to sit and brood in, waiting for the other characters to notice them and ask them about themselves.

The idea knocked around in my head for a couple of weeks, until I was recenty at the excellent Contingency RPG convention in Norfolk, England, where the final pieces clicked into place as I was trying to get to sleep one night. I playtested it the next afternoon with some volunteers, got some feedback and drafted the version you see here.

In the original playtest, we actually played a tale of superheroes & villains, as that was the medium most of the players felt comfortable parodying, but the intent was always for this to be a fantasy-quest-type game, just the kind where the players' egos derail it before it gets more than a session or two in.  So, finally, here's a game where you are supposed to be a Mary-Sue, edgelord snowflake, hogging the spotlight and assuming that everything that happens is about you!

Please don't break your GM: we are fragile and appreciate people taking care of us.
